"Absolutely fabulous..."

My son Alex and I went for a sea kayaking taster session run by Colin McWilliams just over a week ago and had a fantastic time.  We had kayaked a little bit before but never on the sea.  We learned so much in a few hours it far exceeded our expectations – we are hooked!  We plan to visit again and go out with Colin on longer trips so that we can progress and gain more skill and experience.  Sea kayaking is a brilliant way to gain not only an appreciation of the sea, wildlife and kayaking but also to forge strong bonds between families (mother and almost teenage son in this case).  Colin was flexible and able to coach us individually, ensuring that we learned and had fun at the same time. Absolutely fabulous – we can't wait to go sea kayaking again.

My day paddling with Oban Sea Kayak Guides was definitely the highlight of my holiday. Organising a day's paddling during a week of fickle Scottish weather was made easy due to your flexibility.

You were able to tailor the activities to suit my experience and ability, whilst maintaining a comfortable level of safety. Under your guidance my paddling technique and enjoyment improved greatly, giving me the confidence to tackle the challenging conditions.
