We organise guided sea kayak trips for small groups – whether you are new to sea kayaking or an intermediate/advanced kayaker. We offer a pick-up service in and around the Oban area and all of your equipment is provided (or feel free to bring your own gear). You will be accompanied by a qualified local guide who will share with you the natural beauty of the Argyll coastline. We’ll tailor a trip to suit your experience and what you’d like to see.
Taster Sessions for Beginners
If you are trying sea kayaking for the first time we offer a full or half-day ‘taster session’ as an introduction to sea kayaking. You'll be amazed at how much fun you'll have as you pick up the basics of sea kayaking.
Guided Trips and Coaching
For experienced kayakers looking to discover this area, there are full-day guided trips and multi-day trips with overnight camping. Coaching and skill improvements can also be included.

NEW for 2013: demo boats
Oban Sea Kayak Guides are racking half a dozen Kari-Tek Demo Fleet Sea Kayaks here in Oban. The boats are available to test paddle, with a coach paddling on the water with you, should you so choose. This is a free service to help paddlers make the best informed choice they can when it comes to purchasing a sea kayak, taking place in a real sea kayaking environment.
