Colin McWilliams, an SCA qualified coach, will share his local knowledge of the Oban area’s stunning coastline.
Trip arrangements are flexible to suit you. We’ll pick you up at an agreed location in Oban or at your holiday accommodation if it is within a 20 minute drive of Oban. We also provide a pick-up service from Oban railway or bus stations. We’ll drive you to our launch point where you will be given your kayaking gear and fitted in your kayak. During the trip we will provide hot drinks. For overnight trips, we’ll supply all food and provide camping equipment if required.
Your trip will be crafted to suit you. Just let us know what you would like from the trip and your level of paddling experience. Coaching and skills improvement can be incorporated into your trip. Contact Colin on 01631 705 004 or email info@obanseakayakguides.com.
The Oban area offers a fabulous range of possibilities for sea kayaking. Your trip will be arranged to suit your needs, but here are a few of our most popular journeys.
A two day paddle with an overnight wild camp. If you are relatively new to kayaking and would like to plan your own kayaking expeditions, this is the trip for you. We’ll share our knowledge on subjects such as: expedition equipment, how to pack your kayak, eating ‘real’ food, environmental issues – leave no trace, trip planning. Food and cooking equipment are provided as are tents if required.
